「It was wonderful, the bed was incredibly comfortable and real value for money with the breakfast, we would definitely come again. The only down side was that the car park was a bit hit and miss, a lot of the space said no parking.」

「Very helpful and pleasant staff. Breakfasts good and it was nice to have table service. Pool was lovely but the room was stifling!! Some areas a little tired but in general thought it was very nice. Walk to town was a bit of a challenge in gale force winds, but that can’t be helped!」

「Myself and 2 children had a lovely stay at The Cumberland. It has a great location across from the beach and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were very welcoming. The breakfast has a great choice, it is plentiful, cooked fresh and tasty. We parked in the train station car park as it was cheaper for an overnight stay and not as busy as the 'tourist' car parks. It was approx. 5 minute walk via a pedestrian footpath.」

「Staff were lovely, breakfast was very good and the gym was useful to have. Unfortunately the pool was too small to have a proper swim in. I had a single room so it was ok but the bathroom was a bit cramped. Some hotels provide a double bed for single occupancy, but I appreciate that this is an older hotel so there is not much they can do about space.」
