Incredibly nice room, super-friendly hosts, delicious food.

This property is pretty unique in its location, away from "the rest of the world". You really are in nature, surrounded by nothing else than rice paddies, lake, and such a variety of birds. It is peaceful, staff are very friendly and helpful, food is excellent and will accommodate vegetarian and gluten free needs. There is nothing I can fault our experience on!

The rooms are spectacular but the p[eople even better

This place is great. Not for it's facilities, but for the honesty, kindness and professionalism of it owner Anska. The bungalow rooms are very simple, with a/cand shower, clean an comfortable and cooectly priced. There is very good food served for breakfast and evening meals if you want them. Anska will take you in his jeep or tuc-tuc to any of the marvelous sites in the area and also do jeep safaris into the local parks to see elephants and other fauna. All at reasonable prices. This family owned hotel is stunningly beautiful. So many decorative details. The pool and hot tub so inviting. Backyard faces river with monkeys close by.

You'll have to travel a long distance to reach the place given its geographical location: Far from everything and everybody. But that's what you came for, isn't it? Once the entirety of the peninsula crossed, having found yourself on a topsy-turvy road during a couple of kilometres more, then turning to the right 'somewhere' on a dirt track, you'll eventually face a solid portal with the word "dolphin" written on it. At that point, it would probably be already dark, so you'll just appreciate...

Friendly staff, set among nature, great birding spot

The Mango House is a beautiful property, and it is in the perfect location for walking in Galle Fort. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The food is excelkent. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

amazing place right on the hidden beach with infinity pool. Their are only 5 rooms with a big lobby which make it feels like a summer beach home.

The host was very responsive whenever there's an amenity issue in the room. I had a very peaceful and quiet stay there as a solo female traveller.
