The hotel itself was well maintained and the private open-air onsen (hot spring) in the room cannot be beat. The staff were helpful and courteous, and the dinner and breakfast menu was delightfully delicious. Overall it was a very memorable stay, unfortunately it was raining during our stay so we didn't leave the hotel to explore the surrounding area. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway albeit a bit on the pricey side. I would recommend this hotel for a...

Amazing dinner in the hotel restaurant. The Wagyu beef was melt in your mouth fantastic. Great wine. The private onsen was perfect and so relaxing at the end of the night. Super comfortable bed and spacious room. Wish I had booked two nights. My only complaint is the coffee in the room is more espresso style and I love a big hearty cup of coffee in the morning. The hotel doesn’t offer coffee in the lobby which is a bummer. We didn’t add breakfast just because we don’t usually do breakfast....

It was such a lovely house. It was so nice to have all the space for everyone in the family, and at the same time the games and kitchen allowed us to have more family time together.

Excellent property. Modern with all amenities in description. Loved the location. Easy access to Mt. Fuji and the great outdoors. Nature and local culture at your fingertips.

Great place to go and chill, make sure your room has an outdoor soaking tub. However, I felt the staff does not typically deal with English speaking guests, while they are accommodating, culture may have been an issue. One staff member, from India was essentially assigned to my well being, and after I requested a taxi to drive me from the hotel to a further train station, I decided to utilize the local train to connect to the further station, and requested the hotel shuttle. I booked this hotel while in Tokyo. 3 hours later, I was at the hotel. The JR station is literally right down the street from this location. The hotel was clean, more modern the the other hotels I have stayed in while in Japan. The person who was on duty knew I was coming and addressed me although I checked in at 0200. When I go back to Mt Fuji, I am staying here.

This is the fourth time I have stayed here. it is very close to the Hamamatsu train station. All I needed was close proximity to train station, and a bed to sleep in at night.
Free breakfast was a plus, along with the nightly complimentary drink and bowl of curry. Room is a bit cramped and bed hard but this is pretty much the norm in all japaneese hotels. Room is also dated but if you want nicer accomodations then you're going to have to pay the price. I feel that this is a bargain for what I...
