"Nikko Nara Hotel is most conveniently located, connected to Nara Station. Quaint Starbucks and Tourist Guide Centre next to station. Near to main road leading to town centre, with food streets, temples and past a small lake that eventually leads to Nara Deer Park. The hotel service is immaculate. Beautiful lobby which is well furnished. A small lounge next to the lobby provides hotel guests a place to have complimentary coffee cookies and drinks in the afternoons. "Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed in one of the private rooms, which were cosy, comfortable and clean. We loved the feel of the hostel, with pretty gardens and spaces to linger in, feeling like we'd stepped back in time. It was very quiet when we stayed with few other guests, although the restaurant filled up at dinner time (great food!). The Naramachi area nearby was fantastic to wander through and it was easy to get to the bus or just walk to some of the sights of Nara."
