There's an onsen at this hotel and a pool. The pool closes early and opens late so heads up. We didn't really pay attention to where the hotel was. "Check in - friendly, helpful, moves fast enough. Sauna opens on check in, so its not full in the afternoon but busy at night
Rooms - clean and nice. We had the 2 singles and 1 queen, and it was like a 2 bedroom suite. Rooms are not big, so if you have a lot of luggage, it will be tight. But, they use the space very very well, with a lot of convenient extras (i.e, baskets for your sauna trip, water and snacks in fridge, cubbies)

Breakfast buffet is great. Well stocked buffet doesn’t fun out of food. Japanese section is the best. Coffee machine and drinks are great. Free yogurt drink in the morning in the relaxation room, free ice cream in the afternoon.
Location
Near Kyoto Station, you can walk from there to the hotel. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. A Don Quiote is minutes away.

No shoes in the hotel. They clean your luggage wheels before you check in. This can be getting used it.
