「車での宿泊がメインなのでしょうが、バスで行くと日本人には中々難しい道のりでした。タクシーの運転手には「リズリー、ホリデイイン」で通じます。Derbyまでバスで20分ほどで2.6ポンドです。慣れてしまえばさほど不便ではないかと。 トイレの水が流れにくいのはイギリスではどこでもそうなのでしょうか？（笑 部屋などは清潔ですごしやすく、イギリスらしい風光明媚な田舎の雰囲気が楽しめます。 朝食は10ポンドとちょっと高いですが、ビュッフェ形式で濃厚なソーセージやベーコン、ベイクドビーンズ、フルーツなどがあり、けっこうおいしいです。 従業員の方達も親切で丁寧で、片言しか話せない日本人でも安心できると思います。」

「A lovely location to stay for a few days walking. Owners and staff welcoming and friendly, good food, breakfast & evening, good service. Shepherds huts are clean, warm & cosy. Within good distance for both Chatsworth House & Bakewell also good walks from the inn. I had a very pleasant stay, thank you to the staff.」

The hot spring is excellent (even though the main indoor pool was a hotter than the super-nice temperature on previous occasions), breakfast is good, rooms are comfortable (although aircon was not working well this time and one had to sleep with open windows, it was reasonably quiet), convenient parking nearby」
