「The room was clean but had roaches ….the bathroom door was off the hinges and the light didn’t work」

「The room didn't appear especially clean. There were stains on the comforter and a few on the sheets, but nothing that seemed new. Just permanently stained. Fan cover in the bathroom ceiling was missing and cracks in the ceiling. Air conditioner was working. Although the room did seem warm. Overall, it wasn't terrible just not completely updated.」

「Parking was easy if you were able to get a spot. I did have trouble getting a spot close to my room, but the hotel worker on duty accommodated for me and just switched my room to a closer spot. Staff is accommodating and easy to work with. Amenities are fair. Room was clean. But furniture seemed old and stained. My room did smell like smoke. But I was safe. It was fine for 2 nights. 」

「Wonderful stay at The Avista. It was convenient to have indoor and outdoor pools and Hot tubs. We used the outdoor and indoor hot tubs and frequented the poolside bars. Our unit was well maintained and clean. The grounds and outdoor amenities were clean. I would advise a refresh of the fitness center. There was also an indoor bar/lounge but it was really quiet. Great to be on the beach. Great location close to Main Street where dining and bars are. We went in early May.」

So disappointed from the minute I checked in My itinerary said check in was 3:00 pm and when I arrived I was told 4:00 pm then next on to amenities the pool was empty and told it’s been closed for a long time. Now I get to the room which looked and smelled like 1970 ! After long business meeting I returned to unclean room without explanation this happened 3 times then my request for a inconvenience credit fell on deaf ears as no one would help me but they...
