"Situated in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, and the ocean, the cottage offered a perfect balance of comfort, privacy and convenience. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed being able to read, write, and bird watch on the private balcony that overlooks a tranquil garden. On-street parking was readily available anytime of day and check-in/check-out was easy as pie. Many thanks to Mark and Marty for being excellent hosts! Hope to see you again...

You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation."

Loved the games they had, even though we brought some to play. Only “complaint” we would even have, which is NOT a complaint at all is it would be nice if there was more light in the living room. "Close to Little Italy and to my daughter’s place. So that was nice. Farmers market and all the places to eat at were amazing. Daily runs to the pier. Some real steep hills though toward Balboa.
