"The hot water in the shower both nights was lukewarm at best. When I told the front desk gentleman he said that was the best the hot water got. Also the hotel did not offer any water bottle filling option in the front lobby except during breakfast only. The front desk gentleman said we could use the sinks in our room. Sidewalks needed pressure washing and the showerhead needed to be replaced with better water pressure."

"They're doing some construction but their rooms are great. There were kids in the room next to us but once the doors closed it was so quiet. Very happy with our stay. Breakfast was an on the go but still good "

"The hotel is in the middle of everything but not on South Lake Tahoe so it’s quit and safe. The room was very pleasant and had a cabin feel to it. The pool and hot tub (very small fits 3 people). Overall, very good hotel. "

"Felt like I was part of history! Clean room and right there in Old Town Sacramento. Some reviews commented on noise - we were on the city side and heard some folks partying in the distance, but didn't bother us at all!"
