"Perfect location. Great interiors. Some great restaurants on the property. Looks out onto Monterey Bay and is right next to a wonderful coastal trail. Loved the in room Nespresso machine! Beds were great. Bathroom was excellent. All round perfect hotel and spa!!"

"The rooms are in need of updating, and wear and tear is definitely showing, especially in the bathrooms. The $10 parking charge also feels excessive. Another major issue was the water pressure while taking a shower, the pressure and heat were fine at first, then suddenly the water pressure dropped. I turned up the heat, and then when the pressure came back, the water became scalding hot. It was frustrating and unsafe. I used to love staying here, but considering the price and the current condition of the property, I’m not sure I’ll be back."

"Rooms could use a lot of updating... almost thought we were sharing our room with the two adjacent rooms as we could hear EVERYTHING clearly as if they were in the room with us.... TP roll is way off to the left side of the toilet, so it's literally a stretch to tear off the tissue... sink hose was totally wrapped and kinked underneath the sink, so there was no cold water, had to have the hubs fix it. TV guide showed a variety of things, but when you clicked on something to watch, it was something else (the guide was not accurate) Phone didn't work so calling the front desk for something was done on my personal phone. The fridge was adequate for small amounts of stuff, closet was adequate for storage. The bed was comfy (if you like a firm mattress), and room temp remained stable and good. Didn't have to use the HVAC .. The valet and staff were very nice and helpful, friendly. The hotel is VERY close to Wharf shopping and restaurants, as well as in-town restaurants and shopping. Very close to Pebble Beach Golf courses and others. Overall review: Clean, comfortable, and convenient. The price was a bit high for the above-mentioned issues. But we will stay again, and ask for a quieter zone."

"Comfortable stay overall. The bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient for exploring Monterey and the surrounding area. The rooms appeared to be somewhat updated and clean. I thought the property was a good value and would probably stay here again if the price was right. One thing to note is that photos may show a jacuzzi, but it appears to be associated with certain rooms rather than being a shared amenity for all guests."

"Our oceanfront king was amazing as we were on the 2nd floor directly above the lobby with the perfect center view of the ocean, pool area, cornhole grassy areas, and firepits. The location with beach access is amazing. Breakfast was fresh, hot, and served with great service. Parking was plentiful, easy, and safe. Love how there's a walking path all the way to Ventana Grill for dinner too."
