「This place is truly unique and full of character. Warm, peaceful, comfortable, great Wi-Fi, and equipped with everything you need. The proximity to Bristol is perfect, plus there’s free parking and a lovely pub just down the road. Nick is an absolute legend of a host — incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return.」

「Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them.」
