"The property has a lush grass, fountaings, an amazingly warm heated pool with a deck and chairs/tables. We stayed in the main building with a pool view right next to the back door to the office which served a continental breakfast of bagels, muffins, cereal, english muffins, hard boiled eggs, milk, OJ, coffee, tea, etc. The room smelled so very clean upon entry and the toilet was sealed. It was very very clean. We had a studio with a fridge and microwave. A coffee pot in that room would have really been nice. There was a hairdryer and iron however. TV channels not that great - wish hotels would upgrade to better cable/TV service in general but who watches TV much when your near the beach! We also had our own private parking lot at the beach half mile away with our own private roped off beach (right across from their other place Hotel Maria) There is a bathroom right there on the lot and food places all over. I had scallops and clams from a local shake - amazing and fresh. The parking lot seemed open at night for star gazing on the beach. The staff was friendly at every interaction and always helpful. Beach towels provided at pool and the beach which was great! We look forward to going back again soon when the water is a bit warmer - the heated pool saved us when we wanted to swim since the ocean was a bit too cold for us! On the way out we visited Mystic and ate at the Engine Room which was great. We had a wedding to attend so also Kudos to Stongington Vineyards! "

"We had a great time at 1661. The farm across the street was amazing. Breakfast was really good and the afternoon wine and cheese was adorable with the birds hanging out with us. The views were breathtaking."

"The Atlantic House was such a pleasant surprise! Clean, location was great, staff very friendly and the price was good as well. You're within walking distance of the beach, great restaurants and shops, so nice not to have to get back in the car to grab a bite of food. We'll definitely being going back! "

"Blue Dory Inn was in a great location, walkable, not far from the ferry. Ocean views from the property were great! Cute shops and some nice restaurants nearby. Nice front porch to sit outside and beach chairs to take to the beach behind the house. Holly was an excellent host. Afternoon social was very nice-with cheeses, crackers and lemonade for the non-wine drinkers. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. The breakfast was quite good, with a nice selection of breakfast food choices, scrambled eggs with spinach and fresh fruits and breads, juice, coffee and teas. "
