「ヨーク大学の近くのホテルを探していて、庭や部屋の雰囲気が素敵だったので予約しました。ヨーク駅からは、7番のバスに乗って、Fulford Road, Main Streetで下車します。バスの運転手さんにホテルの名前を告げたところ、近くまで来たら教えてもらえました。部屋は広く、スーツケース2つ十分に広げるスペースがあります。またベッドもかなり広く快適で、夜ぐっすり休むことができました。古いホテルなので、少し壁が薄いですが、夜は静かでした。浴槽付で、洋服ダンス、引き出しなど収納スペースも十分あり、長期滞在にも便利です。ヨーク大学までは、歩くと20分ほどかかります。地元の人が愛用している、昔からあるホテルのようで、滞在中よく結婚式やパーティーなどが行われていました。近くにパブがあり、ホテルで食事も可能です。ただ市内に出たほうが、お店はたくさんあると思います。宿泊は年配の方が多かった気がします。ヨークで静かに過ごしたい人におすすめです。」
「I have stayed there before, lovely room, breakfast plenty of choices and I would recommend it. Love the smell of the shampoo/body wash (wish I had one for home). Would stay there again in the future.」
