Our room was in the Old Swan,it is a property that the Old Lodge must own. It's a few minutes walk from the lodge.It was ok but wouldn't stay again. Breakfast was lovely,fresh fruit, croissants, everything cooked to order. The only niggle was that we went for a drink in the lounge about 9 o clock,and it was just staff stood there ,one was swearing,which I don't think was acceptable in a posh establishment and while guests were present . Check in staff were lovely,but we won't be staying again.

Absolutely beautiful building and grounds, room was huge and clean, staff were all so friendly. Very peaceful. Shops only a short walk away. This is a beautiful old lodge set in large grounds. Parking is easy and the market, pubs and restaurants are easily walkable. We had a lovely suite. We had problems getting wifi maybe because of the thick stone walls and the bathroom was dated and small, but overall it was a lovely hotel.
