"Good value for money in Banff. Close the the river for a nice morning walk with a coffee. Renovated rooms are much nicer and a good update from a few years ago. Staff are always friendly and helpful. "

"The best. No qualms booking this hotel again! Fresh Flowers, awesome hot tub. ( I miss the moose’s head in the hot tub area. The change rooms were appreciated our last day, and rental ski drop off was so easy! "

"Ptarmnigan is not fancy. It's older, but is in a good location, the staff are friendly and it's often a reasonable price. Room was clean and mostly well-stocked. I just stayed one night so didn't use any amenities. Parking is tight for a land cruiser but it fit without any scrapes. Breakfast didn't start until 7 which is a bummer if you're trying to get out for an early walk or a meeting."
