"Such a lovely boutique hotel with beautiful facilities. Amazing hospitality - the staff made us feel very welcome. Our first Ryokan experience couldn't have been better. There is a Family Mart nearby and the Ashi Lake is only a 15 minutes bus ride away. We hope to be back soon!"

"Very nice hotel. Location and facilities were tip top. Staff was nice but we had a lot of confusion because we did not speak Japanese. Things like the shuttle bus and baggage delivery service options and the breakfast were hard for novice Americans to navigate. For a Japanese speaker, I think it would be very very nice."

"The room was clean, and onsen was great! The dinner and breakfast were both served in-room with traditional Japanese style. We arrived early and didn't get to use the pick-up service, but it was easy enough to just take the cable car to Souzan and walk to the hotel."
