We spent a wonderful weekend here with friends. There were three couples, and it was the perfect set up because each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The house was beautifully furnished, and the grounds were well landscaped. It was so peaceful and quiet outside. As soon as we walked in it felt like a vacation house. The kitchen was well appointed, and we found everything we needed. The dining room table sat six of us with room to spare and was the perfect size for a game night as well. We cooked together for some meals and went out for dinner one night and brunch one morning. We enjoyed both the outside seating on the back patio and the rocking bench on the front porch. The air conditioning worked well and kept us cool (some of us too cool) in the heat of summer. The house was a short drive to Athens, Coxsakie, and Catskill. There is a lovely river walk in Coxsakie which we enjoyed after our dinner out. Our one complaint was that the descriptions on Vrbo led us to believe that there was a water view from the house, which there was not, although it was only a short walk down to a small beach. Overall, it was a lovely weekend with friends.
