Check in was easy and smooth. The room was very clean. The toilet had its own room. Same with the excellent shower. Staff was excellent. They had free lockers where you could keep your luggage until check in time. Our only complaint was that they would not store our luggage after we checked out.

Great place! Super friendly, kind staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location high on the mountain. In room onsen was nice for a quick private soak. The forest and rooftop public onsen were lovely and uncrowded. Breakfast buffet was delicious.

The Ajisai Onsen Ryokan was an amazing experience. The hotel is small, quaint, peaceful and the Onsen's are fantastic. There are not enough words to describe the staff.
