"Diamond cliff resort and spa is a high quality resort. The rooms are nice, the food is tasty and the pool areas are relaxing. It is a few minutes walk up a hill from Patong Beach- so if you want to be away from the hustle, but still get to the main strip you can easily. Note- there are a lot of stairs at the resort and your room may not be located close to the complementary shuttle"

"Overall very good. Clean and comfortable room. Good service by staff. Location was central in Patong. Room service food was not great, though. Lemon grass soup was average at best. Ordered breakfast and it arrived lukewarm at best. "

"Exceptional Stay at Marriott Merlin Beach Phuket Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Marriott Merlin Beach Phuket! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home. We were particularly touched by the thoughtful touches for families — our children loved the extra gowns, slippers, bath bombs, and kids’ activity bags provided specially for them. It’s those small, genuine gestures that make such a big difference. The food selection was excellent, offering a wide range of delicious options. We did encounter a small hiccup when a halal-labelled item was initially cooked on the same surface as pork, but the way the team handled it truly stood out. Rather than dismissing the concern, they took it seriously, addressed it immediately, and ensured all future dishes were prepared separately. They were problem-solving focused, sincerely apologetic, and even offered thoughtful little extras to make up for the oversight — a gesture we deeply appreciated. We also loved the amazing Halloween celebrations, which were full of creativity, festive energy, and wonderful themed treats — a highlight for both kids and adults! The resort’s coral beach is absolutely beautiful, especially for those who enjoy snorkeling or exploring marine life. While it’s not ideal for swimming due to the coral, it’s still a lovely and unique feature that adds to the resort’s charm."

"OMG please book this resort if you can. This was the most beautiful place I have stayed in my life. Every penny spent here was worth it. Breakfast for halal food eaters is HEAVEN!!!! So much halal food options an variety in food. Don’t think twice before booking this place. I can guarantee you will have a great time in the resort itself. The location is perfect with so many restaurants around and Bangla road is walkable too!!"
