"Lovely hotel, couldn’t fault it. On arrival they gave us 2 free drinks vouchers and a free light lunch voucher for each day of our stay. Very good location about 10 min walk to the station. Facilities were very good free coffee, water and snacks. Would definitely go back. "

"Very clean , large rooms, comfortable beds, the ambience feels like high end hotel. Even restaurant in the hotel had good western food which was much needed after getting tired of eating Japanese food. You get one free drink also every night from that restaurant. Train station is 2 min walk which connects to Kyoto station so you can access all tourist attraction easily. "The staff was wonderful. At first i was hesitant for an upgraded room by front desk but took it and the view was stunning and did not disappoint of the Eastern part of town as well the Kamo River. The subway station is directly under the hotel so if you need to catch a subway train or need to get off at a station near you, it will be conveniently under your hotel which also doubles as a shopping mall and connects to the shops underground in the subway station. "Great value. Modern boutique hotel room. King bed was really two queen beds pushed together with a Godzilla top mattress. I had to take a taxi to get from my side of the bed to my husband’s. Bathroom was boutique modern. The only negative would be that one side of the bed did not have outlets for a phone charger or a reading light of any kind. This is a very hip hotel with a fun rooftop bar with tapas if you’re hungry. The breakfast add on was $12 per person. It’s a great value. "
