Clean room. Convenient location especially if you want to explore Gion. Friendly staff. 2 dryers and 2 washers in the basement (don't overload dryer or it will take a while). Beautiful aesthetics. Largest King size bed Ive seen in a Japanese hotel.

The staff were excellent, location is excellent near restaurants and shopping but not on a loud street, lots of free amenities. The only reason I didn't rate this stay as a 5/5 is that I would have appreciated the opportunity to experience the public bath while wearing a cover/swimsuit, but they require full nudity.

L'hôtel est superbe ! Le hall d'entrée est magnifique. Des petites choses sont mises à votre disposition gratuitement (shampoing, masque, brosse à dents..) ainsi que des boissons. Le onsen dans L'hôtel est un vrai plus tres agreable ! Les chambres sont tres sympathiques. Une bouteille d'eau est donnée chaque jour. Le personnel tres sympa ! Nous avons demande à faire envoyer nos valises, super ! Tres bien localisé, facile d'accès pour se balader dans le quartier Gion Sejour parfait !

We really liked the location and the Japanese vibe of the hotel was very nice! The bathroom facilities were excellent. We booked a premium king room and it was too hard for us as 65+ aged customers to crawl in and out of the bed. We would just caution other travelers to be aware of this situation. Otherwise we had a great experience!
