"The staff was friendly. The facility was clean and looked to be well maintained and recently remodelled. The breakfast was very good (woo, sausage gravy!). The only issue was that, even though the advertised check in time was 4pm, my room wasnt availavle until just prior to 6pm (or at least that is when they notified me). I was in town for a wedding at 5pm so I had to change clothes in the lobby bathroom."

"This is an older building that has been freshly painted. Our room was very clean; the bed comfortable and the towels were soft. No bells or whistles ie: in-room coffee maker or refrigerator, but it was adequate for our needs, being close to a wedding venue accross the bridge."

"I loved this hotel!!! It was in an amazing spot with so many options to eat, shop, and do activities. The staff was super nice and efficient. The room was clean, updated, and had all the amenities you need. The only thing I could think that would be a bother is if you’re 6’ in height or over, the shower head is a bit low. I’m 5’8 and it touched the top of my head haha. Anyway, great stay! Will definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area!"

"This was a lovely property-very walkable to museums and historic Charleston. Nothing else that we wanted to see was more than a 30 minute drive. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was lovely and well maintained. It was very quiet. We slept well while there."

"We had a great stay at Tru. Walked to dinner and drinks at Bonefish, then to the performing Arts Center for a show, and then quick walk back to the room. Great location"

"My family and I traveled to SC and had an issue with the first place we had planned to stay. It was a holiday weekend and we were a little worried that we would not find a place. I checked online and Tru by Hilton came up, having just one room left that meet our needs. We were able to book immediately and loved this place! "This property is older but it was very clean and the staff is exceptional- so friendly and when I left a few things , that were not valuable, they took the extra step to call me and let me know that they had my things. I would stay here again. "

"We stay at Seaside Inn every time we visit IOP. It’s not super fancy and the elevator never seems to be working when we visit but the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and there is easy access to the beach. The free breakfast is good for a quick grab and go of different snack options. I think Seaside is a good, affordable option if you are like us and just need a nice clean room to stay when having fun at the beach."
