「The best hotel 」

「Not exactly the arrival experience we expected. We were charged an additional $19 amenity fee at check in that had already been paid through the app and had to go back and forth before it was finally refunded. The first room smelled so bad we couldn’t even stay in it. Staff did switch us quickly, which we appreciated, but the second room still didn’t feel very clean. The bedding and pillows were pretty subpar, and the sheets were rough and itchy enough to make sleeping uncomfortable. Definitely...

「The room was clean enough, but the ac did not work properly. It wasn’t able to be adjusted from our room. The bed was awful. Way too soft to be comfortable and it sank in the middle. Our room adjoined another that had kids in it and was right across from the elevator. I will not recommend this hotel or stay here again.」

「The pool heater was broken. Water too cold for swimming. Coffee in room only made expresso. These two issues ruined my stay as I only book hotels with a pool and coffee. The coffee shop opened at 7am. I wake up at 5am. I really should have gotten a major discount. The hotel itself was fine. Good location. 」

「Perfect spot downtown. Located by everything. Restaurants, bars, shops, the water, walkable area that is clean and beautiful. Room was awesome, dog friendly which is super important to us. Valet service was great and the staff were friendly for that. Nice sized bathroom. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Awesome hotel that is in a beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will go back to this hotel.」

「The hotel is average it looks nice but lacks the basics. For example it requires 3 switches to turn on one light in the bathroom. The TV only has two channels that come in clear and the parking lot lights are mostly non working.if you bring these things to stay staff The only thing they say is they "don't know" The staff are more geared toward supporting locals and rude to guests. For the cost stay elsewhere.」

「Parking was an adventure and there didn’t even seem to be any dedicated spots for residents/renters with the summer traffic it was hard to find a spot to park. 」

「My wife and I were extremely happy with our choice to stay at Mills House! From the point of checking in, we felt welcomed and thought the entire staff did a tremendous job. They were very accommodating for check in/out adjustments, and were able to hold our bags for us while we explored the city waiting for our flight. The room was very clean and comfortable as well! The outdoor pool was super nice and relaxing, and the poolside bar was a great touch. Highly recommended all around! 」
