"Very pretty but no hot tub. This place ‘looks’ very nice, but there’s no included breakfast. Most surrounding places offer breakfast bar at this price. "

"Hotel Emeline was a 5-star experience. Existing pictures and reviews don't do this place enough justice!!! We were on a girls' trip (4 girls in their early 40's from all over the US) and we would stay back here in a heartbeat if returning to Charleston in the future. The hotel has such a welcoming atmosphere - it's stylish, modern, clean and the staff are wonderful! Not to mention the on site coffee shop and restaurant are both incredible and food and Bev quality were outstanding! We went on a girls' trip for the weekend and were looking for place for 4 of us to be together. The two-king suite was the most perfect set-up with two private bedrooms and a shared bathroom - couldn't ask for more! And it was cheaper than getting two separate rooms anywhere else. Highly recommend this hotel!!!!"

"The rooms all face the beach/ocean which is really nice. It was kind of disappointing that all you got in the bathroom to shower with was a small thin bar of soap and a small bottle of hair soap. One of the lamps shades had visible rust on it from the wire frame being rusty which was weird. Amenities could’ve been better as the outdoor pools and one of the lazy rivers was closed and under construction. Hotel bar/restaurant had really goofy hours. Game room was so so and didn’t actually pay out tickets and redemption counter looked empty with no prizes at all. Guess all this could be because I went during the “offseason” possibly? Nevertheless, it was an alright stay but could be much better."

"everthing was great until the last morning. our room had no hot water so we were unable to shower. which I thought would be the last thing I would need to be worried about before our return home... But other than that, it was great and we will still book again next year."

"The room was great for the trip. Did see a dead bug behind the dresser but thank God there wasn’t anything else."

"The staff was pleasant, but unfortunately the bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly. The bathtub had hair left from a previous guest, and the towels did not appear fresh. I hope management can address housekeeping to improve future guests’ experiences."

"Our suite overlooked the ocean and it was perfect. The beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean."
