"Understaffed. Unable to accommodate guests wanting breakfast (without a wait) despite plenty of tables set and ready. They said this was due to kitchen staffing. Very strange for a 5 star hotel. Pool very small and unable to get lounger. "

"Breakfast fine, parking tight but there is a garage backup. Hotel staff seems helpful but are totally ineffective to solve our non functional TV after many requests to solve the problem. "

"Enjoyed 4 nights at The Francis Marion Hotel. Great location, walkable to all downtown attractions and restaurants. The Swamp Fox had a great menu, and it was nice to have a Starbucks on site. Staff was attentive and helpful. We we’re in town for the Cooper River Bridge run. Would definitely stay again!"

Bar inside and out was attractive and comfortable. The cushions another pool need to be recovered. I do not think you should reserve and make guests pay for the couches by the pool."
