Saturated with poor quality Indian restaurants. Many other international dining options. We had some great meals, ( just not the Indian food ) Anywhere else, we love Indian food. The entire area is famous for a vibrant nightlife. Expect loud music!

Paton is nice place. Beautiful. Over all very crowded and scammed. Everything in cash. Massage parlor will throw you dirty offers even when you are with family. Beaches are extremely over crowded. Karon and Patong beach were full of scammers.

Transportation is an issue as it takes an hour to come and go from airport and 1/2 an hour to go to old town. However there is do many options to do ( horse , ATV, jet ski) and many restaurants close by, all the main brands.
"Very well maintained, great service, many restaurant options, friendly staff. Nothing went bad, everything was great. The Beach Grill staff was great, especially Mook (I think that was her name, the head waitress). Would definitely come back here if I am in Phuket again. "
