I was really impressed with the staffs, they are very kind and helpful, specially Gun, the manger in the dining room, always very pleasant and ready to help, she really cares about her customers. The staffs in the lobby are also great, very helpful and friendly specially Aldulraman, very friendly guy and very helpful. Overall, I had a great experience at Bauman residence and will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Patong.

Reception team for both check in and check out are sorely lacking in almost every way possible. No logic for the THB1,000 deposit and to make people wait for the refund. Apart from that the room was clean and large. Decent location which is away from the noisy parts of Patong and is a 15 minute walk.

Nice hotel in Pantong Beach, Phuket. Room was good size with sitting area and balcony. Shower was nice good water pressure. 2 robes and slippers in clothes armour. Ropm scent was nice. No condition but shapoo and body was was very nice and fresh smelling. Body lotion had a strange smell to it. Bed was horrible. If you have stayed in guest houses in Thailand, then you will understand. It felt like the hardsest know cardboard known to man. My hips and should hurt all night. Made me keep turning due to pain of presure. Lobby was mice pool was cool looking. Biggest draw back was when I wanted a bucket of Ice the front desk dires me to the restaurant. Where I was charged 80 bht for ice. Yes ice, that melted in the room faster than I could make drinks. By the sodas like coke were 40 bht. A large bag of ice at 7-11 was 40 bht. This shows how out of touch some places can be.

Close to Patong central areas. Daily breakfast was terrible - don’t go after 9 (closes 1030) they don’t keep replacing food and limited options. No umbrellas for shade in pool area. Beds are hard as a rock although they did provide a topper when asked. Front reception is terrible - no customer service skills. Spa is not staffed and ready for service had to wait for 30 mins for staff to arrive and then had 3 staff sit in spa talking whilst having massage.

Stay at Bauman Residence, March 2024.

Good hotel for this price. Great location in Patong- easily walkable to the beach, shops, mall, Bangla Road etc. Hotel is clean and rooms sizeable. Mostly quiet, although some noises in the corridor late at night when people return from the bars (sometimes with 'visitors'). A/C in rooms is good and effective. Overall good. On-site restaurant is decent and food is of a good quality (although you'll find a wealth of cheaper and more varied options walkable from the hotel). Staff are friendly and helpful. Standard of English is mostly good. I did have trouble arranging transport from the airport on arrival but this is not a problem- you can easily get a taxi from outside the airport when you arrive (fare should be 800 THB as of March 2024). Arranging a taxi back to the airport at the end of my stay was easy with reception (fare was 900 THB). The pool area is large and secluded. However, it is ageing and needs some care and attention. Lots of chipped tiles and the water was murky and not as clean as I would have liked. There is a small problem with pigeons, who sit on the surrounding balconies and sometimes defecate into the pool below. This did not prevent the majority of people swimming and certainly is no more dirty than most seas and rivers, but if you are sensitive to this sort of thing this is something to bear in mind. Overall this is a good hotel for the price and I was satisfied with my stay here.
