"We stayed in this ryokan for a family trip. The city is unknown to non-Japanese people, but the people at the ryokan were so kind and helpful. Sometimes it was not easy to communicate as their English was not the best, but they tried their best to help. The meals were awesome, and the bath places were great as well. "本当の軽井沢ではないですが、雰囲気や気候は確実に軽井沢の隠れ家的なホテルです。 北欧風をコンセプトにしているようにスタイリッシュでシンプルで広々とした空間です。 野菜が自慢のレストランだけあって、野菜がおいしいです。野菜が入ったソーセージやスープが絶品でした。 今回はお部屋にサウナが付いているタイプを選んだのですが、ドアのタイプが以前東京で事故があった取っ手のタイプだったので、ちょっと怖かったです。あと非常ボタンもなかったように思います。 ベッドは広々でぐっすり眠れました。 子連れで予約すると階段の転落防止柵が取り付けてあり、助かりました。 アメニティーは充実していて ドライヤーはRifa です。 お風呂は追い焚きができるタイプです。 13:00チェックアウトなので 忙しくなければゆったりできます。"

"This very new seeming property was excellent and I'd certainly choose it again for another stay at Besshoonsen. Room was and clean relatively spacious, the three private spas worked well (although the hotel was not full when I stayed). Meals were delicious, dinner and breakfast, and sensible quantities. If you're thinking of an overnight here a) you should come - it is a lovely old town and b) this place has your back for a bit of onsen magic while you are here."
