"We were very happy with our stay. Great location from which to visit the old and new city. Super friendly staff!! The room was large with a wonderful balcony overlooking the old city. Nice garden with areas to sit and sip wine. We would stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"The hotel was a bit hard to find but once there the staff was super helpful to get us parked, checked in, and even hauled our bag up a flight of stairs for us. We did not do breakfast but other guests enjoyed it. The room was clean and functional. The terrace on the third floor provided a marvelous view of the fortress. Location was great."

"Charming hotel in a truly unique setting. The staff was very welcoming, but could have shared more information about what restaurants were open and that reservations were necessary. And perhaps helped by making a reservation for us."

"We stayed Saturday to Tuesday. The restaurant and bar were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which was disappointing - The roof top bar area had an incredible view of the castle but we didn’t get chance to sit there - otherwise I would have given a higher score"
