"Clean and spacious room. Very comfortable 3 nights stay. Lots of windows for some fresh air. Use WhatsApp for quick and easy communication with the staff to reserve your parking spot. The parking entrance is a bit hidden, would easily missed for the first time. €15/night Laundry service available operates via an app. It provides self dispensed laundry detergent within the cycle. Close to tram station. Many grocery stores within 5 min walking distance."

"Upon check in, there was a line out the door. With only one person attempting to check people in, deal with room keys that were not working and providing other support, the line moved slowly. They did have a self check option, but info from Hotels.com wouldn't work. Once getting to the room, it was sparce with the very bare essentials. Then came the noise, coming from outside, inside hallways and an elevator that was next to my room. Breakfast was meh.. For over $275/night.. not what I expected."

"Tried to check in at 12.30pm and were told we couldn't access our rooms until 3pm. Which is super frustrating and there wasn't even any sense of empathy or apology for it. Front desk staff were very very slow at the check in process. Front desk staff on other occasions had no urgency despite there being a queue. Why don't they act more quickly, they are on "go slow" mode? Bar staff were very nice and much more efficient. Room was nice, although no iron and ironing board. For s 4 star hotel the water should be refreshed daily. Price of the mini market on ground floor was disgraceful - €4+ for a small bottle of water. Hotel was in a fantastic location. Lobby area is nicely setup for relaxing and drinks. Did not appreciate a knock on my door from housekeeping team at 8.30am on Sunday. Who does this?! Would not return to the hotel I am afraid due to the numerous issues above."

"The hotel staff are efficient, welcoming and resourceful. Property could use an update, especially carpets in rooms. Hairdryer was sticky, scratched terribly and should be replaced!! Location is walkable to stores, restaurants, museums, galleries and the cathedral, which is fantastic."

"Our stay in the Ameron was very pleasant as always. We had a small problem with the air conditioning which was never quite resolved but we're very fond of this hotel and the area in which it's located"
