Valet parking was a little expensive, just over $50 per night, but it seems like it is this way with almost every hotel in the area. "This was a wonderful place to stay in DC. It was a great place because it was was within walking distance of many of the DC sites. It was also close to many top-notch restaurants. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The elevators were timely. It had a fine fitness room and lounge. The place was large and clean. "

"This historic property is beautifully maintained and centrally located near the mall and museums, Old Ebbit Grill and Joes Crab, among other eateries. Also, the Round Robin grill, named by Walt Whitman, offers good food and great drinks. It is only one of two bars in the US to ask me if I wanted my martini stirred or shaken. The suites are spacious and amentities fine."
