Was originally supposed to stay here for two nights but extended our stay for another three nights. The hotel is a beautiful design and the free bikes mean it is quite easy to get to the beach or centre of Tulum in 15-20 minutes. Everything felt brand new. Nice gym and rooftop pool too. We loved our stay here, would definitely visit again. Some minor points: breakfast can be confusing as when we were there some days coffee and fruit was out, but other days it wasn't. Also the bikes are a bit rickety but they do the trick!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The hotel is on the right track, but improvements can be made, from minor to significant. Good is free bikes, free towels for the beach. Rooms are good. Gym lacks wipes to sanitize after. It's about $50 each way via cab to the beach area, which isn't their fault, but calculate whether you think it's worth it to be closer. Good staff, professional. Food is OK. Clean drinking water requires making requests to the desk each time. Parking is free and good. It's a beautifully designed atrium. For the price, it's really good. Area is safe as well.
Beauty Hotel with top amenities. The breakfast selection was delicious and fresh everyday. The room were gracefully decorated. I would absolutely recommend The Moxy ! 10/10
Absolutely loved my time at Moxy. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Rooms are nothing grand but for one person maybe two it’s perfect. You don’t spend much time in your room anyways. Patito is a cute hidden gem and they have decent food. Location is in the middle of hotel zone and centro. The best part of the stay was most definitely the staff!
The staff at Moxy made the stay the most enjoyable part of the trip, everyone was extremely kind and knowledgeable throughout the entire process.
The bikes provided were okay, but not the most comfortable for getting around. I’d definitely recommend renting a moped through Dias-Mex Scooter Rentals instead. They conveniently dropped the moped off directly at the hotel and picked it up before our departure, which made everything super easy.
The hotel is located on a strip with several other major hotels, putting you in the perfect spot to either head to “La Valetta” where there are tons of trendy restaurants and coffee shops or over to the main beach strip where the beach clubs and Michelin-rated restaurants are located.
My only slight negative would be the pool setup. It feels a bit separate from the hotel experience since you have to either pay to rent towels or go downstairs to the front desk to get them, which makes the process less seamless. The pool area also doesn’t get much direct sunlight, so sunbathing and swimming weren’t as enjoyable as expected.
Overall, I would absolutely stay here again when I return!
