"Lovely modern room, exceptional customer service and very clean. It was adequate but could of been better. (We would of loved a top sheet on the bed, hot chocolate and some fresh milk in the fridge) These small things make such a big difference! "

"The rooms were a bit tired and could do with some maintenance but they were clean and more than adequate for our stay. Staff were friendly and the pool area was lovely. The bar had a good choice of beverages at very reasonable prices. Would recommend this hotel to others"

"My partner and I stayed here for our 2 year wedding anniversary and the staff could not have been nicer!! They were so lovely from check in to check out making sure we had what we needed and providing that beautiful location for us to stay in. The decor in the house and our room in particular was stunning, rich and colourful. We would 100% recommend staying here as it’s only a 2 minute walk to the train station that takes you practically everywhere around Auckland!! Thank you Aachen House :))"

"For its price u get a really nice comfortable and clean place to stay in, room we stayed in was disabled friendly aswell and quiet. Parking was easy and staff were friendly, close proximity to alot of food. Would definitely stay here again."

"After a late check in, which was managed quickly and conveniently, we found a well appointed room with all the necessities when travelling with children. A reasonable sized kitchen and bathroom and sufficient beds meant everyone was comfortable. There was some minor damage and cosmetic issues around the walls but otherwise we had a pleasant one night stay. Would stay again. "
