"The gal in the office was amazing - so kind, friendly, and helpful! We loved our room. The kitchenette was perfectly what we needed, and the shower was great. The lock didn't work in the bathroom door. Otherwise, everything was good. Not much breakfast, but we bought eggs at a nearby Safeway and were able to cook our own breakfast in our room. Great view and away from the busyness downtown! We loved it and would definitely stay again."

"it’s a great spot right down the road from estes downtown. Had Elk on the property everyday which is super cool. Great for family’s with the heated pool, huge hot tub and yard games. Fresh fruit and good muffins every morning for free snd other breakfast stuff. Our room had a kitchen/livingroom /jacuzi tub/fireplace. Perfect setup at an old school Cabin style Motel it was awesome. Don’t ever Change Murphys Resort you are perfect the way you are. looking forward to future stays. thanks Shawn & Ashley from Charlton MA"

"To start, we called to see if we could check in early. We got a hard no, with them claiming they were fully booked and the room wasn’t ready. But when we arrived, the motel (and yes, it’s definitely a motel) looked pretty dead with tons of empty rooms. On top of that, the pictures on their website look totally staged and don't represent reality at all. The room itself smelled like heavy chlorine. The bed was so squeaky that every little movement woke the other person up, and to make matters worse, the fridge buzzed loudly the whole night."

"I just wish they would have had a microwave in the room so we could heat up our food. It was crazy hot in the daytime so I would have liked for them to have an ice machine and for the pool to be opened. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beds were comfortable."

"Such an incredible stay! The room was beautiful and very clean. The shower was great with multiple shower heads and settings. The toiletries smelled so good. The fireplace was cozy and the robes were a great touch. It was in the most beautiful location and convenient to everything. The lake, the marina, the fire pits, and picnic areas were all excellent. I would highly recommend for anyone staying in Estes Park!!"
