This chalet was a great stay for the six of us. It was very clean and well-equipped. The hot tub was also well maintained. The location is perfect, as its a few minutes from the RMNP entrance and a few minutes from the main shopping area downtown. We would definitely stay again.

Everything about this property was perfect for a family vacation in the Rockies. This 3 BR 2 full bath unit was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. It had a well-stocked kitchen and hot tub.

Timber Creek #8 was well appointed - comfortable furniture and beds and a good kitchen. It was conveniently located about half-way between the National Park and the town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

Very pretty view from this place but the hot tub did not work the first night and over half of the lights in the home did not work.

Clean, nice place. One thing to note, which is not pointed out in the description, is that the second bathroom is on the first floor. Nice location and it worked for a family of two parents and two adult kids.

We thought the property was just great. So much better than staying in a hotel. It was very clean. My only suggestion is that there is more light in the downstairs bedroom. Other than that it was perfect.

First time here but will be back. We usually stay at another place about a mile away. They're older units compared to this place. Very comfortable.

This VRBO is just a few short miles from Estes Park and the entrance to the Rocky National Park. We had a private hot tub that was perfect for evening use and was cleaned daily. The size was perfect for my group of 6. Everything was as listed in the listing. I only wish the community room would have been available past 5:00PM since we were gone almost everyday and not returning until after it was closed.

We had an awesome time! We were close to town for shopping and close to the Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I saw reviews complaining about no air conditioning but you’re in the Rockies! You don’t need it! It gets very cool at night. The only thing we wished we had and didn’t was an oven mitt. But who cares! We were in the Rockies! We made memories and had an amazing week!

The condo was nice and cozy. It was clean and communication was good.
Some info to know- the kitchen is really tight with a big table and chairs that fill the space. Also, there in one bathroom attached to the master bedroom downstairs, while the second bathroom for the house is downstairs for the 2 bedrooms upstairs (somewhat difficult for my kids in the middle of the night).
Overall, we enjoyed our time at the chalet.

We so enjoyed our stay here. Great location! We loved the space, the area has hiking right from the front door. It was great to have a personal hut tub. Our kids loved the pool table in the lodge and they were so nice and had lots of extras...free DVD rentals, snow shoes, coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn, etc. available for the asking! They also furnished the paper products and extra towels! My only recommendation might be to have a dresser in the bedroom and a place in the living room to hang coats....we had a wonderful visit. Thanks Lynette!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The management responded quickly to a problem with the fireplace. The location was 4 minutes from the Fall River entrance to RMNP, which was great. The space was as described & the hot tub was very nice.
However, the unit could use a little attention & a few updates. The master bed mattress was not good & we were both uncomfortable. The fireplace did not draft properly, even after maintenance came & “fixed” it. After multiple attempts & some literal headaches from smoke in the unit, we finally had to give up. The grill didn’t heat well (clogged gas jets, maybe?) & little things in the kitchen weren’t great, like all the units on the one measuring cup were worn off.

The best part was the hot tub. It went downhill from there. The living room only had a couch and a chair, no loveseat as the photos show. My family of 5 adults did not have enough seating.
The kitchen cabinets are dirty, you can feel the grease when you open the doors/drawers; no knobs so you’re forced to touch the sides. Overall, just very worn.
The window screens don’t close fully. So, you’re limited to the windows you can open, unless you like the idea of bugs flying in...
When I emailed Lynette with my initial concerns (screens/seating) she told me to speak to someone at the front desk, which I did, she was very nice, but not overly helpful.
The view outside is lovely. However, the chalet is on a main road, you hear every vehicle as it passes.
It is conveniently located to RMNP so that was great!

The chalet (#8) was perfect for our family of four. The location is excellent - 2 miles from downtown, 2 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park - nestled right between the main attractions, the setting is serene and relaxing. Elk wandering right through the property and star gazing from the hot tub after a long day of hiking or shopping was fantastic. The only thing we didn’t like was the fact we had to leave at the end of our stay. Would definitely stay here again!
