"Lovely hotel but it needs some TLC ans theres a musky smell throughout. Staff were amazing throughout and very helpful. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available 24/7 which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was lovely but it could do with changing up to help give a bit of variety - it was the exact same the 2 days we were there. Overall lovely hotel and close to the Interstate and local attractions."

"We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites Austin South Congress for a family vacation and overall had a good experience. The hotel’s location was convenient and made it easy to explore Austin and nearby attractions. The staff provided good service throughout our stay and were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast each morning, which offered a nice variety of options and was a great way to start the day. However, the hotel is definitely showing its age and is in need of significant updates. The guest rooms feel dated, and the furnishings and overall appearance could benefit from renovation. Another downside was the parking fee, which we felt was excessively high and added a substantial extra cost to our stay. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our time in Austin and had a wonderful family vacation. With room renovations and more reasonable parking rates, this hotel would be a much stronger value."

"Beautiful hotel in Austin…. Staff was great lobby area was very nice with many nice spots to sit and relax. The cafe in lower level was lovely with a full bar. Pool was very nice but music was played very loud making the experience not relaxing. Location was close to shops and restaurants but not close enough to walk. Parking has a charge $$. Overall I would recommend."

"Not a bad hotel and not a bad stay. I had a suit but I do wish the doors from each rooms can be completely closed. Got to have my privacy. Room was kept cool but would like to see an upgraded ventilation or ac. I paid a great price and I was ok 👍."

"I have so much good to say about this hotel. It was nice to be surrounded by trees and great landscaping. The art and decor were also incredible. There were some practical things missing about my room (no drawers, small closet, no wash clothes!) but the overall vibe, comfort, friendliness of the staff far outweighed those issues."
