"We had a very relaxing family holiday here. There were hardly any other guests when we stayed, and it was almost like having a private resort.The restaurant staff made us two lovely dinners and breakfasts, the first dinner was an intricate kaiseki spread, and the second was delicious grilled steak. "The property itself was comfortable and clean but the reality is the person who owns this place is.......weird and stuck in his ways Have your wits about you when dealing with this guy it came across like i was a walking ATM for him Kinugawaonsen is a beautiful place and has provided many epic memories but as mentioned keep Yukka at arms length and you will be ok 👌✌️"

"Staff very friendly! Spend the extra money for the onsen in the room and for the buffet dinner! They are both worth every penny! We can’t wait to go back. The only downside was the bed/futon and bean pillows. The bed and pillow was uncomfortable and my husband didn’t like the futon and he sleeps on the floor every night. The “Las Vegas” was ok but many machines were down. Loved the pipe organ!!"
