"We loved this hotel. We were particularly impressed with the kindness of the staff. Sujawa, in particular, greeted us with warmth and made sure we were immediately comfortable after coming into the hotel on a very hot day. She also explained the local bus service and allowed us to check in earlier than anticipated, which made our day in Nikko so much easier and more enjoyable. The room was perfect and very clean, and the coffee machine in the main kitchen area was much appreciated. Would highly recommend this hotel. "

I loved japanese rooms that consist of spacious view side and tatami floor; my room had split toilet and shower stall as well, which is massive plus bc i dislike UnitBath system. Lounge access was great with local specialty beverages and snacks. The premise has so many retails and entertainment places. The buffet offered wide varieties that went beyond my expectations. Overall, one if the best establishments in Kinugawa. The outdoor bath on the highest floor was massive plus. "

"We had a very relaxing family holiday here. There were hardly any other guests when we stayed, and it was almost like having a private resort.The restaurant staff made us two lovely dinners and breakfasts, the first dinner was an intricate kaiseki spread, and the second was delicious grilled steak. Breakfast had plenty of options for both Japanese and Western style meals. The lounge area provided all the drinks and snacks and cup noodles we wanted, and we had a very nice walk around, and up into a snowy area by the river. It was nice to relax in our own private onsen tubs whenever we liked. The surrounding town is pretty quiet, and we didn’t have much time to explore it, but the river and woods are very beautiful. "
