「We stayed here to go to a concert, we were able to walk to the north side of Scarborough, however it was a good 30 minutes for us, so maybe a car or taxi ride for anyone who cannot walk too far. The hotel was small but our room was fine for us, the bathroom was quite small and would be a challenge for the larger person, or someone tall. Our check in and out was fine and breakfast was lovely, cooked to order by the filling in of a slip the night before. The room was nice and clean, TV a decent...

「We stayed at The Central because of its convenient location for the Stephen Joseph Theatre. We were lucky to find parking directly in front of the hotel and purchased a discounted parking permit from the hotel. There are plenty of parking garages nearby as well. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The room on the third floor was a decent size with all the basics including an ironing board and iron. It looked out on a main road with several bars but the noise, even on a Friday night,...

「It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. 」
