「It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. 」

「This is a very traditonal hotel in the best sense of that word. The rooms are spacious and we had one with a great view towards Robin Hoods Bay. We had dinner and breakfast and both were very good.」

「For a 3 star hotel I find Rivelyn excellent. It is always clean, the staff are helpful and friendly and beds are comfortable and the breakfast well cooked. It is located within a 2 minute walk to beautiful sea views from the Esplanade, a 5 minute walk of local shops and a 10 minute or less walk to the town centre, restaurants, cafes and the theatre, and also the beach. 」
