"This is our second time staying there as our daughter attends UCSB. Very clean and the facility is exactly as displayed by the photos, but during the second stay we arrived at 10 PM (after a 12 hour flight and driving from LAx) and there was no one at the front desk - with a sign posted that the front staff was helping another customer. We were extremely frustrated as we weren't sure how long the wait would be. I don't think the wait was longer than 15-20 minutes, but I would suggest when the front staff leaves, they provide a pager or someone we can call for reassurance (during the waiting process, we were already looking for other hotels as we desperately needed rest)."
