"Excellent location and rates. Very walkable along the shoreline walkway, nice views of the bay, good Chinese restaurants in walking distance, very nice hotel, but no pool. We were very satisfied and booked again for our return trip."

"Staff was present 24 American hours. Parking in the area is hard. All amenities worked. Refrigerator was very useful gaskets were great. Plenty of places to eat In the area. Wife’s card was charged a weird charge in which we were not able to figure out and the hotel did not help."

"The hotel location is great and being a an older hotel you expect some small quirks with the building. I guess do to vagrant issues, they do not open the double doors in front so on a warm day lobby is very stuffy (AC in rooms only). Carpets are super dirty. Furniture on lobby area has holes, rips, tears. the photos are not correct. And it is not that clean or comfortable. Looking in the gathering areas. The attached restaurant does not open until after one o'clock in afternoon, so don't expect getting anything before then. The price is right for what you get in that area of SF. It is a 3 star at best hotel on a scale of 1 - 5 star. Nothing horribly bad, but nothing exceptional. Beds are comfy and pillows not bad. Just don't expect 5 star and you will be fine."
