En revanche, le canapé lit n'était pas du tout confortable, ça a été pénible d'y dormir 3 jours. Le check-in se fait à distance et ce n'est pas très pratique."

The hotel is full of Sicilian character and charm, and its location in Ortigia was perfect for exploring on foot. Our room was comfortable and beautifully suited to the character of the hotel, and the staff were always happy to help with recommendations and anything we needed. After travelling throughout Sicily for two weeks, what stood out most was the genuine hospitality. We felt like valued guests, not just another reservation. Algilà was exactly what we hoped for from a Sicilian hotel — charming, personal and welcoming. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ortigia!"

"Clean and comfortable. Nice welcome and spacious room. Breakfast is a little quirky as it’s all served à la carte. But there’s a good selection of items. I used the valet parking which took a long time to arrive when I was checking in but for check out the car was ready early. A nice stay. Would stay again."
