「This is a lovely place to stay. It is just off the M5 in a rural location. A beautiful pub with history. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. The food choices are varied and when served, well presented. We will stay again when we are visiting family in Cheshire or Scotland. 」

「Acton Manor is a magnificent country house with extensive outside space and has the added advantage of a games room and, at an additional charge, a hot tub. Most of the bedrooms are large with four poster beds and it was clean and fairly comfortably furnished. However, the overall impression is that of being tired and poorly maintained which give rise to a number of faults that require attention, and left us with a feeling of disappointment about our short stay here.
