"Amazing hotel stay! I stayed during off season so it was fairly empty. My room was incredibly clean and QUIET! I slept like a baby. The hotel room had such a classic “wealthy” vibe to it. Very luxurious in a modern way. Staff was friendly. Parking was great. Only semi bad experience was the restaurant on property (inside of the hotel) - food wasn’t the best and very expensive. "Staying there was like traveling on time and we were avle to learn about the history of the original house and famous bridge in front. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and cozy. The staff very responsive and kind. Breakfast served was delicious and fresh."

"This is a gem! The carriage house is cozy, well appointed and had everything we needed and an incredible environment inside and out. From here we went to Montpelier, Warren and their 'almost world famous' general store, Lincoln Gap, Woodstock and Queechee. Each as a great day excursion with incredible leaf peeping on every road and mountain area. We went on fabulous hikes (short and long ones all over) every day all around our day excursions. The hosts are very friendly and kind and their two well behaved labs are an added bonus making it all feel like home. The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living area are all good sized, well stocked and comfortable. Attention to details make this a dream place set in a stunning rural setting."

"Our two day stay at the Countryside Cottage with Sauna and Fireplace was awesome. The cottage is well stocked with kitchen items,, there is an area with a table for eating, a comfortable couch with a great tv, and the bed is wonderful and has great linens! For us, the best part was the sauna. It was wonderful to sit in there and look out at the field and forest. We highly recommend the Countryside Cottage with Sauna and Fireplace!"

"We had a wonderful time and would love to return again! Our family with five young children and four adults had plenty of room to spread out. It was very peaceful, the screened in porch overlooking the mountains was especially memorable. My kids loved the pool and hot tub- plenty of floats and goggles available. The kitchen had everything we needed (except for a vegetable peeler!) and the hosts were so thoughtful to even have a "sharing shelf" of basic food supplies if needed. Only thing was the queen guest room upstairs didn't have a window air conditioner unit, but they did have a window fan and that helped. It was especially warm a couple days we were there, but it cooled down quickly enough overnight with the fan. The other rooms facing the sun had an air conditioner, and were plenty cool! Can't wait to go back!"
