Go Skiing or Hiking from an Enchanting, Light-Filled Home
Wake up in a bedroom steeped in woodsy charm via exposed wood beams, a timeworn wooden dresser, and a driftwood-framed mirror. Rustic-chic touches in a cozy living room unite with a kitchen’s modern flourishes forging a radiant, lived-in atmosphere. This first floor apartment of a two unit 1830 farmhouse can be rented on its own or with the upstairs unit. Booked as just the first floor, it is completely secluded with its own private entrance.
ALL NEW cozy, designer decorated, original VT farmhouse entire first floor apartment. King bed that can be split into twins and a full bed. Full kitchen, living room and bathroom. 3 acres, swimming hole, wifi, cable, TV, laundry. Very easy to get to towns and skiing.
IMPORTANT NOTE: A/C window unit in kitchen living area only. MOST places in the area (except the main resort) DO NOT have A/C. It seldom gets past low 80s usually in the 70s and there is a wonderful breeze. There are free standing fans if needed as well.

The house is set on 3 acres of secluded land. Sugarbush Resort and Mad River Glen’s respective ski slopes are within a 10-minute drive away. In the summer, walk to the private swimming hole behind the home or hike the trails at Mt Ellen.

The downstairs apartment of the house was perfect for us. It is spacious and everything is decorated so lovely. The location is also great to take trips everywhere. We would definitely love to stay there again!
This was our 2nd stay at the farmhouse and it was just as good as the first. We love the small details in the house that make it so welcoming and comfortable.
My husband and I stayed in this delightful farmhouse on a two night getaway. It was clean, adorable and perfectly located for everything we wanted to do. I would highly recommend!
This was a nice apartment to stay overnight in Vermont. The VRBO app itself doesn’t provide you with correct details regarding WIFI, but the owner was great about assisting us with this. This place is very clean, provides quality linens and paper products.
The place is clean, beds are comfortble and communication with property manager was impeccable. Check-in and check-out cannot get any easier. Lacks a few cooking supplies. And if you’re a light sleeper, the house is by the road, so it could be a little noisy. All in all, a great place.
This house is in a great location, close to town but far enough that it feels remote and quiet. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. It was immaculately clean and had plenty of towels. The cozy living room with smart TV was so comfortable for binge watching a show at the end of an active day. The swimming hole was a terrific bonus if you are just a little adventurous. We would recommend Scrag and Roe in Waitsfield for anyone looking for an excellent meal. We hope to stay again soon.
Very spacious. Lovely location. Had a problem with hot water first night. Repairman came out next morning, but this threw us a little late on our sightseeing.
Nestled in the historic heart of Vermont is a gem of a farmhouse, which effortlessly weaves the rich tapestry of yesteryears with today's modern conveniences. Our recent stay in the 2-bedroom apartment exceeded all expectations. It was a cocoon of comfort, exuding a cozy and romantic ambiance, yet offering all the modern convenience we've come to rely upon.
The farmhouse's strategic location alongside the iconic Route 100 in Waitsfield was a dream come true for travelers like us. It served as the perfect base for our day trips, both north and south, unlocking the vast scenic treasures of Vermont. Yet, the allure of the property itself was equally compelling. Spanning expansive acreage and with the gentle murmur of a river as its backdrop, it was the epitome of tranquility. Many a time, we found ourselves caught in the dilemma of exploring the state or succumbing to the allure of a good book, ensconced in the serenity of our temporary quarters.
A special mention must be made of our host, Yiselle. Her warmth, attentiveness, and prompt responses enriched our experience. It's not just a stay, but an experience, thanks to her.
In a world where genuine hospitality can sometimes be elusive, this farmhouse in Waitsfield stands as a testament to what an authentic, heartwarming stay feels like. We're already looking forward to our next adventure there!

This was our first VRBO stay and I have a problem: our host has set the bar very high for future stays. The house was pack full of amenities. More so than many five star hotels. And the property included many features we did not have time to enjoy in our short 2-night stay. Recently remodeled, it was tastefully decorated, and our host provided many notes to help us enjoy our visit.
This is a gorgeous, well-kept home in the heart of the Mad River Valley. It's a short-drive from the center of both Warren and Waitsfield. In an area with limited lodging options, this modern and design-friendly home was a welcome stay.
Responsive owner and caretaker, great comfort and charming decor, clean, bright, sufficient kitchen stock, extra touches like toiletries and coffee, overall first rate. Could hear footsteps upstairs from unit above but not voices so did not interfere with our enjoyment of the property. Love the area and Sugarbush great skiing!
We had a great time , in a great space~ lovely yard and accommodations~ just as described!

Cozy country farmhouse
This farmhouse can be a bit noisy as property is directly on the main road…
Various noise including road noise. But bedroom with sound machine to filter out some noise. This ground floor apartment is very cozy, clean. Only issue was dishwasher not working and wasn’t fix during our 3 nights stay. All else okay.
House was fully stocked with everything one would need. Location was amazing. House was at the base of ski area access road and very close to stores. We couldn’t have been happier! We will be back!
