「This is a quaint hotel that is comfortable and clean. Everyone was very friendly and the amenities were nice. The breakfast is a plus.」

「The staff were helpful and very nice. Never ignorant. We liked that. We didn't like it that there was less in the breakfast room than last year, considering we paid $10 extra per person for 4 people, and that they had to unlock the door to let guests in. They also didn't get rid of the trash in the cans or change bags. No fresh towels in the bathroom after two being used. They also didn't change linens and make the beds while we were out for the day. 「The hotel had no record of my reservation for July 25, 2026 booked through Expedia when I arrived. The new owner told me by phone from another location that the hotel was fully booked and had an ownership change. My companion and I were left high and dry with no place to stay in Bennington. I had to reject an offer of accommodation in Rutland 50 miles away. Expedia and new owner, please take responsibility for this lapse.」
