Deanna at the check-in desk was superior both very knowledgeable and helpful buit also kind and professional. Many thanks to her. Also the breakfast was better than expected. On both accounts I will consider coming back.

The staff was very friendly, although I had some bathroom problems at first. Luckily, when I complained, they moved me to a better room. Otherwise, I liked it.

Excellent host communication and coordination. Received a speeding ticket in a zone meant to only make money for the town. They lowered the speed limit to 25 MPH for a few feet and didn’t notice, and then raised it back up to what it was before. Speed trap. Classy town.
The biggest down of our stay was there was no internet service during our entire stay. We ended up staying at a restaurant nearby for their complementary Wi-Fi. Also, the bed sheet didn't feel like it was thoroughly washed due to visible hairs.
If you want some good breakfast and coffee I recommend Johnny Boys Pancake house on RT 4.
Rutland downtown is nice but much of it outside of downtown looks down trodden.
