Everything about Northern Lights was well done. The room was comfortable. The property clean and cared for. The breakfast was excellent. A quiet mountain setting with a creek running through the back of the property and a wonderful breakfast. What more could you ask for? I recommend the cranberry & nut muffin.

Good service, fair rate, nice grounds. The rooms are small and sparse but perfect for home base as you step out in the morning and return after dinner. Location is great - close to the center of town, trails and the river is right behind the property. Free breakfast is great, pool was clean and the vibe chill.

Enjoyed our quick stay, the flower beds are beautiful. Older building and they have worked to keep the vintage furniture and decor. It is true to the time frame and nice to see. Breakfast process was difficult to figure out but folks seemed to be enjoying it. Unique.

Our stay at Northern Lights Lodge in Stowe was excellent. The views were beautiful and the breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. One thing I’d suggest is adding a microwave for guests, since most restaurants nearby close early and the ones open are mostly pubs or Italian spots, not ideal if you need halal or affordable options and don’t want to drive 20–30 minutes. Still, the lodge itself is amazing and highly recommended!
