"Outdoor Jacuzzi need to be changed water wasn’t clear and jets not working. Outside our Patio paint was peeling. Overall good location and good renovation of an old motel."

"Overall I’ve had excellent stays at Spruce Peak Lodge. The rooms are lovely. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. Alpine Hall and Tipsy Trout restaurants are delicious. Outdoor pool and hot tubs are relaxing and surrounded by fantastic views. The only slight hiccup I’ve encountered both times are with the spa amenities. Each time the women’s space has been either out of commission entirely or broke while I was using it and I had to leave. That said, the spa did supply a voucher to cover amenities for a future visit. I just hope when I return to use it that the amenities are working."

"This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are very dated and furniture is old and in terrible shape. Our first morning, there was no hot water for showers. There was dog poop in the hallway. Our room's smoke detector was wrapped in plastic wrap because someone obviously was smoking in the room. There was no hair dryer, ironing board, iron or phone in the room. No elevator. It's a family run hotel and it needs a major update. I wouldn't stay here again even if the room was free."

"Bathroom tub didn’t drain. Crack in the floor of the tub. Barely any pressure from the shower head. Poor security. You could walk right in and go right up the elevator without anyone seeing you. Front desk did not have any quarters for the laundry machines. Most people do not have coins anymore. I had cash but not quarters. Getting on to the internet was cumbersome and lengthy. Poor / limited choices on TV. The windows are disgusting. They all need to be cleaned."
